Violet Glory Ministries is a compassionate and effective community outreach ministry operating within the Washington DC and Baltimore Metropolitan Area. The vision of Violet Glory Ministries is to be a ministry of healing and reconciliation for lost weary souls (2 Corinthians 5:18). Its mission is to provide a safe haven and refuge which promotes inner healing. What is the Purpose of Violet Glory Ministries:

To help people birth out their destinies
To offer hope to those who have experienced previous hopes
To inspire people to use their creative juices and to think outside of the box

Target Audience

Those who feel uncomfortable in a traditional church setting
Those who have experienced previous church hurts

Those who have been ostracized by the major society (homeless, foster care, etc).
Those who are in a transitional phase of their life.
Those who are called to be licensed and/or ordained but do not have a home church or who are experiencing difficulty.

Source of Inspiration The source of inspiration for this ministry comes from Psalms 40:3 which states “And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.” The creative arts, to include song, dance, and expressive writing, is an integral part of the ministry. It is the fueling station for the ministries outlined below. What Services are Offered:

Feeding of homeless and transient population every third Sunday at 12 noon in Franklin Park, Washington, DC.

Fellowship every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 3pm to 5pm.
Mentoring and Coaching for Businesses, MInistries, Youth, and other Individuals
Quarterly Leadership and Training Conferences.
Guest Preaching Engagements
Ministry to Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Adult Day Care Centers.
Open Mike Poetry
Tutoring
Dance Ministry
Expressive Writing

Violet Glory is an unconventional ministry that does not believe in hindering protocol and rituals that prevent people from hearing the true voice of God. We believe everyone has a true song in their heart as individual as your fingerprints. We desire to understand and to bring healing to the hurting areas in people’s lives. Finally. we love laughter since scripture states that laughter is as medicine to the soul.

To inspire creativity and positive self-esteem.
To provide the necessary resources to assist individuals in achieving their career aspiration.
