Personal Ministry Biography of Osita Osagbue

The inspiration for Violet Glory was conceived in June 1999, shortly after Pastor Osita Osagbue accepted Christ as her Savior and was re-birthed under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Source of Inspiration is derived from Psalms 40:3, which states: And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it and fear and shall trust in the Lord. Since her salvation she has written over 60 songs and poems.

In her spare time Minister Osita enjoys reading, composing songs, walking, and choreographing dance moves. Her daily prayer is that God opens her eyes to the needs of the poor, forsaken, and broken hearted.

Growing Through the Years

Violet Glory Ministries was formally incorporated in the state of MD on September 13th, 2007. The Board is composed of Osita Osagbue, President; Jeffrey Sejour Treasurer; and Renee Ilesanmi, Secretary. The vision of Violet Glory is to be a ministry of healing and reconciliation for lost, weary souls (2 Corinthians 5:18-20). The mission is to be a Safe Haven and refuge which promotes inner healing. The method for fulfilling the vision is through Word ministries, discipling, social outreach, and the creative arts.

A holy inspired core value to this God given ministry is that of PROETIK FLOW. This acronym stands for Positive Reinforcement of Each Treasure-Trove in Knowledge for Life Overflowing.

Violet Glory is an active outreach organization, ministering to the homeless and transient population of Washington, DC. Similar to the ministry of Apostle Heidi Baker, her ministry is devoted to the poor and the abandoned: those society deems the least of these. She frequently ministers to the lost and weary in Franklin Park, which is located at 14th and K Streets NW. A typical outing includes distribution of food, toiletries, and bible tracks. She also ministers through open mike poetry, biblical teaching, mentoring/coaching, and prayer.

Other dedicated services include nursing home ministry, youth mentoring, non-profit establishment and coaching, radio and TV show hosting, author, and last but not least, women’s ministry.
